Personal Life :
Salman Khan was born on 27 December 1965 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. He is the son of screen writer Salim Khan. His mother is Sushila Charak, who later changed her name to Salma Khan. Salman did his elementary schooling from Scindia School, Gwalior and went to St. Stanislaus High School, Bandra, Mumbai to complete his secondary schooling. He enrolled himself in St. Xavier’s college, Mumbai to complete his graduation but dropped his studies as he wanted to pursue his acting talent. He along with his friends Sajid Khan and Chunky Pandey learned acting from Daisy Irani’s acting Institute.
Love Life :
The first lady that Salman ever wanted to settle down with was Sangeeta Bijlani. After partying his ways with Sangeeta, he went on to date actress Somy Ali. He was very much serious about his relationship with Somy until he met Aishwarya Rai on the sets of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. After ending his relationship with Aishwarya, he again lost his heart to Katrina Kaif. Later, the actor was also rumoured to be dating Farim Alam and Iulia Vantur.
Career :
After taking his training from Daisy Irani’s Acting School Salman Khan went on to make a career in the field of acting. He worked as a model in his beginning days in the industry. Controversies :
- Salman Khan and his co-stars of Hum Saath Saath Hain were accused of hunting blackbuck deer and chinkara while shooting for the film in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
- He was accused of driving his car over the people sleeping on the pavement outside a bakery at night. One person was killed, while three persons were injured in this accident.
- Aishwarya’s parents lodged a complaint against him for harassing their daughter. Later, he denied all the allegations imposed on him.
- In 2003, He was accused of calling Vivek Oberoi 41 times in one night and threatening him to death. Vivek was reportedly seeing Aishwarya Rai at that time.
