Divya Khosla Kumar is an Indian Film Actress, Producer, choreographer and Director. She debuted in a Bollywood movie called ‘Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo’ in 2004. She has directed movies like ‘Yaariyan’ and ‘Sanam Re’ and various advertisements. She has also featured in some music videos. She is the wife of Bhushan Kumar, the chairman and managing director of T-Series music label and film production company.

Personal Life –

Divya Khosla Kumar was born in a middle class family from Delhi on November 27, 1981. She moved to Mumbai to pursue her career. She debuted in bollywood in 2004. She married Bhushan Kumar, the chairman and managing director of T-Series on 13 February 2005 at the Maa Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra. Career –

Divya started her career in Bollywood as an actress with the film ‘Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo’ in 2004. She made her Tollywood debut in the same year with the film ‘Love Today’. The movie did not really hit the bull’s eye but she resolved to better her craft by concentrating on various aspects of movie making. She went on to learn editing and cinematography, and started directing ad films, music videos and films.

After directing 20 music videos, she finally directed a full fledged Bollywood movie ‘Yaariyan’. Upon its release in 2014, the movie turned out to be a surprise musical hit. She followed it up with ‘Sanam Re’ in which she performed an item number ‘Humne Pee Rakhi Hai’. She also choreographed 5 songs in the film, including ‘Baarish’, ‘Maa’, ‘Love Me Thoda Aur’, ‘Allah Wariya’ and ‘Zor Lagake’. ‘Sanam Re’ did above average business in the box office. Again she came in lead role in ‘BulBul’, a short film directed by Ashish Panda, which was released on 7 December 2017.
