The Nuh Police has taken steps in the ongoing investigation of a car accident that occurred on the Delhi-Mumbai-Baroda Expressway, involving a luxury car and a fuel truck. Kuber Group’s director, Vikas Malu, has been issued a notice to join the probe into the incident, where two people lost their lives. The investigation has gained significance after new evidence indicated that the luxury car rear-ended the fuel truck while speeding.
The Nuh Police formed a special investigation team (SIT) to examine the case and issued a notice to Vikas Malu, who was one of the occupants of the luxury car, to cooperate in the investigation. Malu has also been seriously injured in the accident and is currently hospitalized. His advocate, Rajesh Kumar Thakur, confirmed the notice and stated that Malu would participate in the investigation once he is discharged from the hospital.
Vikas Malu’s advocate, Rajesh Kumar Thakur, emphasized that the truck driver was at fault for the accident, claiming that the truck driver made an illegal U-turn, leading to the collision. Thakur denied that Malu was driving the car at the time of the accident, explaining that he was a passenger while his driver was operating the vehicle. He further clarified that the car was not overspeeding and had maintained the prescribed speed limit of 100-120 km/hour.
Thakur shared details of the incident, noting that the luxury car involved in the accident was taken for a test drive by Vikas Malu, who was interested in purchasing the vehicle. Malu was observing the car’s performance while his expert driver was operating it. The advocate added that Malu’s injuries were a result of the luxury car crash on the Delhi-Mumbai expressway near Nuh in Haryana.
Vikas Malu has been in the spotlight before, as his second wife, Saanvi Malu, accused him of being involved in the death of actor Satish Kaushik. She alleged that Kaushik died at Vikas Malu’s farmhouse in Delhi on March 9 after becoming unconscious. Saanvi Malu wrote to the Delhi Police Commissioner regarding this matter.
The ongoing investigation is expected to shed light on the circumstances surrounding the car accident and provide clarity on the sequence of events leading to the collision.
